Dr. Demetra Vassiliou, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Demetra Vassiliou is Chief Physician at the Dermaworks Medical Aesthetics Clinic. She earned her medical degree in 1987 from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and completed post-graduate internships and studies at Queen’s University, McMaster University, the University of Western Ontario, and Vanderbilt University. She’s been a practicing obstetrician and gynecologist on the staff of The Ottawa Hospital for more than 12 years. She is widely respected within the medical community for her clinical judgment and adherence to evidence-based medicine, and by her patients for her attentiveness.

Dr. Vassiliou has studied medical research on aesthetics procedures extensively. She selected the suite of products and services available at Dermaworks for their proven effectiveness and safety. Dr. Vassiliou is thoroughly trained in the application of BOTOX Cosmetic^® and Restylane^®.
